Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition marked by widespread pain, fatigue, and sensitivity throughout the body. It often follows physical or emotional trauma including concussions or whiplash injuries that can disrupt the body’s nervous system regulation. When the upper cervical spine (the top two bones of the neck) shifts out of alignment, it can interfere with normal communication between the brain and body, affecting how pain signals are processed.

At Precision Chiropractic, we use the Blair Upper Cervical Technique, a gentle, non-invasive approach that focuses on restoring proper alignment of the atlas and axis vertebrae. By improving brainstem function, circulation, and nervous system balance, this technique helps reduce chronic pain, improve sleep, and restore overall energy. Many patients with fibromyalgia or post-concussion symptoms experience a decrease in muscle tension, reduced pain sensitivity, and improved quality of life as their nervous system stabilizes and heals naturally.
